Beds are Overrated

So last night was my first night in LV and it was a rough one. I came to a very astute conclusion, however, around 3:30 am: beds are an overrated component to modern life. I came to this conclusion because I did not have one. While I was cradling my sore, tired, aching body on a scratchy rug and praying that no bugs scampered by, I realized that eventually, no matter how absolutely miserable I was, my body would shut itself down and find sleep. Eventually, it did. Though I woke up sore and weeping for comfort, my body had managed to trick itself into REM stages 1-3. So, beds-overrated. If you're tired enough, you'll find sleep.
